The show will run from Thursday through Sunday.

The Norwood High School drama department will present William Shakespeare's "Hamlet" on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. The show will continue through Sunday with a 5 p.m. showing.

"I spoke with the kids and they expressed an interest in doing a serious piece. Hamlet I see as a revenge comedy that turns into a tragedy. Our cast explored the revenge comedy aspect of this show in hopes of making Shakespeare fun for the audience," said John Quinn, drama teacher at Norwood High School.

Quinn has been teaching drama since 1996. He and the department put on five shows a year, the next one for Norwood High School is "King's Stag."
