Loss of Loyal Fan Inspires Norwood Legion Post 70 to Win

After the loss of Joe Curran, the team upped their game in honor of his memory and are now entering the semifinals.

For the Norwood American Legion baseball team, Joe Curran and his wife Betty were considered very loyal fans because they made every home game since 1992, according to The Boston Globe.

On May 5, Joe Curran died at the age of 83 and the team felt that "his loss was a hard hit."

However, his memory inspired the team to up their game and are now advancing to the semifinals.
