The Norwood Squirt B's were seeded seventh, and beat the second seeded Seahawks Blue team on March 24 with a final score of 5-1.

“Michael Cahill notched a natural hat trick with Billy 'Mac' McCarthy adding a goal and Anthony Marchant rounded out the scoring. Michael Jiang had a strong performance at center with puck control in the offensive zone and Nick Spadorcia played a great game on defense showing his grit and hustle,” Naumann said.

Just this week Norwood advanced yet again, winning against the third place Seahawks White, 3-1.

“Norwood had three goals that all had two assists, really showing some great teamwork and puck movement," Naumann said. "The left wing, right wing combination of Anthony Marchant and Brian Lynch each had a goal and an assist on each other's tallies with some heads up passing,” Naumann said.

Naumann continued that Joe DiBlasi had his best game of the year with end to end hard work. He also complimented players Mikey Hussey, Lars Boothroyd, Jed Cappuccino and Joe Spadorcia on their excellent defensive game.

Ty Magliozz was likened to Tim Thomas in the playoffs after a regular season of rotating goalies.

“Ty has been an outstanding goalie and the ultimate team player for taking on this role,” Naumann said.
