2. Monster Mini Golf and Book Signing Extravaganza

Where/When: , Norwood; Saturday, June 30, 5 p.m.

Why Go: Local author Anna Staniszewski will be signing copies of her children's novel, My Very Unfairy Tale Life, at Monster Mini-Golf in Norwood. What does a book have to do with mini-golf? The main character is not only a magical adventurer. She's also a mini-golf enthusiast! Come anytime between 5-7 p.m.

Pricing: Book reading and craft fun are free. Glow-in-the-dark mini-golf is $7 for "little monsters" and $8 for "big monsters."

3. Dedham Square Country Market

Where/When: 626 High St, Dedham; Sunday, July 1, 10 a.m.

Why Go: A weekly market will be held at the new "Dedham Square Country Market" located in the Odd Fellows building (next to Nest). The market has been organized by Greg Agnew, proprietor of the Dedham Square Country Market, whose family farm "Lemon Thyme Farm" was a regular vendor at the Dedham Farmers Market last season. 4. How Do Men Think (Or Do They?) Comedy Dinner Show

Where/When: Friday, June 29, 8:30 p.m.

Be careful what you wish for. That's the message many take from the all-male standup comedy show “How Men Think (Or Do They?): A hilarious peek inside the male mind."

5. Free Family Movie Night: Happy Feet 2
