Marathon Physical Therapy 5k to Benefit Matt Brown

The 2nd annual 5k road race will raise money for Brownie Points and the NHS Track and Field.

The second annual Marathon Physical Therapy 5k Road Race will be held this Saturday, May 19, at the Norwood High School.

The race, which benefits Matt Brown and the NHS track and field team, starts and ends at the high school. Registration begins at 9 a.m. the day of the race, and costs $30. Age group winners and raffles will be awarded.

"Matt is one inspirational kid," the race's page on the RaceMenu website reads, "recently completing the Hyannis and Boston Marathons with his running partner and former Army Ranger, Lucas Carr."

Marathon Physical Therapy has locations in Norwood, Newton and Norton. Founded in 2004, they offer fitness, wellness, athletic training, and outpatient rehabilitation.
