The Animal Control Officer is based at the Norwood Animal Shelter and is also considered the local Rabies Control Authority handling wild animals which have been reported sick or injured. The Animal Shelter is open for adoption and reclaiming of lost pets and the Animal Control officer is always available for emergencies by calling the Norwood Police.
