Guy Perito's shoe repair shop located inside Building 19 on the Boston Providence Highway has been mending virtually anything worn on a human foot or created from leather for more than 30 years. Perito and his assistant, Joe Hurkett, fix men's and women's shoes, boots, workboots, skates, zippers, handbags and belts on a daily basis, but the staff is also open to new challenges. Shoe Repair by Gaetano also makes keys.

I've used him before and he is great. When was this above article posted? I ask because i went back to Gaetano's just a few months ago and it was lietrally no longer there...when I asked a sales woman if he was ever coming back she just said, 'he is really sick" and then just shrugged. His space has been taken over and is overstuffed with "bargins"...yet the Gaetano sign remains outside. The above rating is for Gaetano, and NOT for Building 19.
