And so, the following are the most read stories of 2012: Five Arrested on Heroin-Related Charges In August, Norwood Police arrested five suspects for heroin-related charges following a search warrant executed on a Washington Street apartment. That search led to the search of another nearby residence and a vehicle that was stopped by plainclothes officers containing three more suspects. Nine Arrested in Police Sobriety Checkpoint The Massachusetts State Troopers and Norwood Police set up a sobriety checkpoint on Route 1 in Norwood in June of this year that resulted in nine arrests.
