Two From Norwood Police Attend Shooter Response Training

An officer and a detective from the Norwood Police Department recently attended a two-day training on how to save lives in the event of a school shooting. The event, hosted by Norfolk DA Michael Morrissey last week, involved the presentation of the ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) program, which was developed by former SWAT police officer Greg Cane and Lisa Cane, a school principal. Norwood Police Det.
