Norwood Police have arrested a suspect in the armed robbery that took place in Norwood Center last Thursday. According to a Norwood Police statement, Joshua Johnson, 26, of 196 Fairmount Avenue Apt. 9 in Hyde Park, confessed to committing the robbery at the Norwood News Convenient Store after being arrested on an active warrant issued out of Suffolk Superior Court in Boston for an armed robbery and an additional charge of Heroin possession. On Friday, Dec. 14, Norwood Police went to 36 Walpole St. acting on an anonymous tip that a male subject staying in one of the apartments had an outstanding warrant.
