Still shopping for a tree or something to put beneath it? Patch has some answers for you.

1. Shop at Barnes and Noble today to support the Norwood High School library. Vouchers are available at the Town Hall and the NHS library website. You can also shop Dec. 9-14 at barnesandnoble.com/bookfairs and enter ID #10352763. 2. The School Committee will be resuming its normal meeting schedule tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the public school offices at the Savage Center. 3. Still looking for that perfect tree? Norwood Patch shopped around some local places to find the best spots to buy holiday trees, wreaths, etc. Check it out! 4. Operation Santa is happening at Willett Early Childhood Center. Five Things You Need to Know Today, Nov. 23

While the launch of Norwood Patch is really the most exciting thing in town today, there is in fact more.

1. There will be no Board of Selectmen meeting this evening. The weekly meetings will resume next week, Nov. 30. Check Patch for updates and details from last week's meeting. 2. Registration is still open for Winter Classes at the Recreation Department. You can register in person at the Civic, or online at www.norwoodrecreation.com. Classes start Monday, Nov. 29. 3. While reading the dictionary is one effective way to improve your vocabulary, the Morrill Memorial Library provides Norwood with another, more social option - Scrabble night. Adults can join in the fun at 6:30pm every Tuesday, completely free and no registration required. There's also a student Scrabble club that starts at 7:00pm. 4.
