Norwood-born Author Publishes "Diary"

Karen Miranda's new book meant to give spiritual comfort.

Karen Miranda said as a child growing up on Endicott St. in Norwood, she knew she would write a book one day. Miranda's newly published memoir, "Diary of a Spirit Medium," started as an actual journal and covers how she came to learn about, accept and eventually share her gift of communicating with people who have passed.  Karen's first "experience" came at age seven. She said that while preparing to receive her First Communion at St. Catherine's church, Miranda felt a presence around her. "Every time I looked over my shoulder, or around a corner - no one was there, but I felt them," she said. Miranda said, however, that she was not frightened by this.
