Congressman Lynch Introduces Legislation to Improve FHA Transparency

Congressman Stephen F. Lynch recently introduced legislation which would increase the transparency and accountability of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA).

Lynch recently introduced H.R. 264, the FHA Enhanced Oversight Act of 2013, which would increase the transparency and accountability of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) by requiring a second annual independent analysis of its financial status. Congressman Lynch Exploring Run for Senate Seat

The congressman said he is giving "serious consideration" to a run for Senate.

Another Massachusetts Congressman is seriously considering a run for Sen. John Kerry’s seat in a special election this year. Congressman Stephen Lynch is reportedly talking to “well-known political consultants” and planning a possible run in a Democratic primary, reported The Boston Herald. “I am giving serious consideration to a run for the United States Senate and am grateful for the support and encouragement I have received in recent days,” Lynch said in a statement to the Herald. The Democratic frontrunner to take Kerry’s seat is Congressman Ed Markey, who is the longest serving member of Congress from Massachusetts. Kerry and Vicki Kennedy, the widow of the late Sen. Lynch Nominates Norwood Resident to U.S. Merchant Marine Academy

Congressman Stephen F. Lynch recently announced that he has nominated Hunter Stowes, of Norwood, for appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

Congressman Stephen F. Lynch recently announced that he has nominated Hunter Stowes, of Norwood, for appointment to the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Congressman Lynch Announces New District Representative

Congressman Stephen F. Lynch recently announced that Katherine Shea has joined his office as liaison for the towns of Dedham, Medfield, Norwood, Westwood, Walpole and Canton.

The Congressman will be visiting towns in the ninth district to field questions from constituents.

Congressman Stephen F. Lynch will be visiting towns throughout the ninth district to meet with constituents. The “Congress on Your Corner” meetings will take place outside town halls and senior centers and Congressman Lynch will be available to take your questions and listen to your concerns.
