Highlights from the daily police logs.

Wednesday, Nov. 24: 8:47 a.m. - Caller reports a deer on their property that appears to have been hit by a car as it is dragging its hind leg. Officer responded but animal was gone on arrival. 1:19 p.m. - Walk-in report of larceny. Reports a bike stolen from a shed at a residence on Walpole St. Report filed. 3:06 p.m. - Female caller reports her sister has been missing for about a week and has had past mental issues. Norwood Fire Department transported her to hospital on the 16th but she has since been released. Officers responded, reported woman located and family notified. 4:23 p.m. - A caller from Elite Taylor on Route 1 reported a customer tried to pass a fake $20 bill. Monday, Nov. 22: 1:32 p.m. - Officer responded to a general burglar alarm at Grace Episcopal Church on Chapel St. The building was checked and reported secure. 3:57 p.m. - Caller reports a single party hunting off University Ave. in violation of town bylaws. Officer responded, informed the party of said bylaw and will file a report. 4:10 p.m. - Be on the lookout issued for a Charcoal-gray, 1999-2000, Mercury Mountaineer last seen in Dedham. Parties suspected of stealing MA license plate 3814SS from a car at the mall. 10:01 p.m. - Caller reports vandalism at Washarama on Washington St., including chairs thrown around the business, newspapers on the floor. Police Logs: Nov. 19-22

Highlights from the daily police logs.

Friday, Nov. 19: 9:47 a.m. - Walk-in resident reported an instance of vandalism to a motor vehicle on Day St. Officers filed a report. 12:45 p.m. - Caller reported that one of the three decoy coyotes left on the field at Cleveland Elementary School was removed overnight. Requested extra police checks on the area to ensure the safety of the other two. 2:40 p.m. - Police received a call that some youths were throwing rocks at a residence at Dean St. and Washington St. They didn't hit anything. Officers responded and spoke to the offenders. 3:28 p.m. - Two officers responded to a call at Town Pizza on Broadway St. that there were several kids hanging around the back of the building for a long time.
