'Extravaganza' Kicks Off the Holiday Season

The Norwood Holiday Extravaganza took place Sunday afternoon at the town common, with additional children's activities in the Civic Center. The Coakley Middle School Choir and the high school's madrigal choir entertained from the gazebo with Christmas carols, while horse-drawn carriages circled downtown, taking residents on a holiday hayride. Inside the Civic, kids followed their parents from table to table for face-painting and craft-making. Santa and Mrs. Claus would make an appearance for photos as well, processing down Washington St, escorted by the high school marching band.
