January brings cold mornings, ice storms and the dreaded FAFSA. Across the country, high school students and their parents are braving the complications of college financial aid along with the occasional blizzard. At the Blue Hills Regional Technical School on Thursday night, several dozen of them -- drawn from a district consisting of Braintree, Canton, Milton, Norwood, Westwood, Dedham, Avon, Holbrook and Randolph -- filed into the cafeteria to learn more about the process from a Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA) representative.
