Bank Robbery Reported at Mansfield's Sharon Credit Union At 9:39 a.m. Thursday morning, a suspect robbed the Sharon Credit Union on 100 Forbes Blvd. in Mansfield and fled the scene. Mansfield Police Lieutenant Sam Thompson said that the suspect was a black male, wearing a black ski mask, a dark hoodie, blue jeans and white sneakers. He said after taking a currently unknown amount of money from the bank, the suspect ran behind the building through the woods to a vehicle already waiting on Walnut Street. Norwood Firefighters Handle Dumpster Blaze at Hospital

The cause of the fire is still undetermined but an estimate of the damage is in the $15,000 range.

The following is from the Norwood Fire Department: The quick response and work of the Norwood Fire Department prevented disaster last Wednesday evening at Norwood Hospital.  The call came in at 9:07 p.m. for a dumpster fire at Norwood Hospital at Washington Street and Hoyle Street. Fire Captain Kevin Romines quickly located the outside fire in the hospital loading dock area on East Hoyle Street. Apparatus arrived within three minutes and were confronted with a large rollable dumpster that was fully involved with fire rolling up the side of the hospital building. Equally as dangerous was the fire’s close proximity to a group of large liquid oxygen tanks located on the property. A quick, aggressive attack by E-4 crew quickly had the majority…
