It's a good day for pancake lovers. IHOP today is celebrating the annual acknowledgment of National Pancake Day, and anyone interesting in taking part can savor the sweetness of free flapjacks. Customers who visit IHOP until 10 p.m. today, Feb. 5, can enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes in exchange for leaving a donation to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals or another local charity. The day began in 2006, and since then IHOP has raised more than $10 million to support various charities in the communities in which it operates. On February 28, guests from around the country are invited to celebrate National Pancake Day at IHOP and enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. In return for the free pancakes, guests are asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals(c).
