After a rather dry winter last year, the snow is finally back in New England. A fast-moving, weekend snowstorm left Norwood with about a half a foot of snow Saturday night -- and perfect sledding conditions. A reminder from Norwood Patch and the Norwood Fire Department.
After being buried under about a foot of snow Sunday and Monday, today's temperatures reached just above freezing - turning some of the remaining ice and snow on the roads to water and slush. According t0 the National Weather Service, high temperatures this week will continue to climb, reaching the low to mid-forties by this weekend. While good news for some, this could be bad news for kids looking to spend their winter vacation sledding or ice-skating around town.
