Successful Fall for Recreation Dept., Looking Forward to Holiday Season Gerald Miller, Superintendent of the Norwood Recreation Department, addressed the board of selectmen at their Tuesday night meeting to deliver his monthly report. Miller said the Halloween season was great for the Recreation Department, including events such as pumpkin painting, parents' night out and the new "Trunk or Treat" event on Oct. 20 - which he described as an alternative to trick-or-treating. Miller said hundreds of kids showed up and, in the words of one of those kids, it was nice to have an excuse to wear their costumes again. "It was a huge success," he said. Ms. Bailey's request to have a resident of South Norwood on the RINC committee is again being excluded and denied. Whatever word used,tabled, on hold, etc., Plasko and the selectmen are not using any means of inclusive nor a spirit of cooperation.
