Comedy Show to Feature Norwood Native
Saturday's show at the Norwood Theatre will feature Norwood's Dan Boulger, as well as Mike Gavin and the "godfather of Boston comedy" Don Gavin.
The Norwood Theatre will host the "Godfather of Boston Comedy" Don Gavin for one show this weekend. Performing with him will be Norwood native Dan Boulger and Mike Donovan, of South Boston. Gavin was one of the original founders of the famous Ding-Ho Comedy Club in Cambridge, as well as being the founder of Nick’s Comedy Stop and a pioneer at the Comedy Connection. Boulger attended Catholic Memorial for high school and went to Curry College which is where he began having an interest in stand up comedy. Since then he has appeared on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, The BBC, and the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival, and in 2008 he went on the CollegeHumor.com and Comedy Central Indecision college tours.
