Norwood Man Arrested for Distribution of Adderall in Home Depot Parking Lot

The following information is provided by the Boston Police Department, and where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Undercover Boston Police arrested a Norwood man for allegedly distributing prescription medication in the Home Depot parking lot in West Roxbury. One Nov. 7 around 4:57 p.m., Alain Barbara, of 565 Pleasant St., Norwood, was arrested and charged with distribution of a class C drug, Adderall.  Members of the Boston Police District E-5/E-18 Drug Control Unit in the Home Depot parking lot, a known place for drug transactions, according to a Boston Police report. Police saw one vehicle parked in the farthest spot from the store when there were plenty of other spots closer to the store. Police Investigation Turns Up Over 100 Lbs. of Marijuana

NORPAC Detectives seized over 100 pounds of Marijuana with a street value of $300,000 from an apartment in Norwood on Friday.

Detectives from several local police departments, including Norwood, arrested a Brockton man on Friday after he allegedly delivered over 30 pounds of Marijuana to an apartment in Norwood. Calvin J. Lorelike Jr., 61, of Brockton, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute Marijuana and was scheduled to be arraigned in Dedham District Court today. A Norwood Police statement said that detectives from the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime (NORPAC) Detectives Unit had learned in the course of an investigation that Marijuana was being shipped to addresses in Norwood and West Roxbury. Four Arrested in Norwood for Alleged Possession, Distribution of Multiple Drugs

Police executed a search warrant on a Norwood residence Wednesday and arrested four men on a variety of drug charges including possession and distribution of several different classes of drugs.

Four men were arrested in Norwood Wednesday on a "variety of drug charges" including possession and distribution of Marijuana and LSD, according to a statement from the Norwood Police. The arrests by Norwood Police detectives and other members of the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime (NORPAC) Detectives Unit, concluded a narcotics investigation that began months ago when Officer David Eysie and Norwood detectives learned that Stephen Petrosh, 18 of 110 Pellana Rd., was dealing Marijuana from his home. Norwood Father and Daughter Busted for Cocaine in West Roxbury

A father and daughter pair were allegedly caught by undercover cops with cocaine in a car. The following info is based on Boston Police report, and where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A father and daughter from Norwood were charged with cocaine possession after allegedly being seen with cocaine in the car by Boston Police Drug Control Units in West Roxbury. Around 3:40 p.m. on Oct. 19, John and Janice Campbell, both with listed addresses as 20 Highview St., Norwood, were charged with possession of a class B substance, cocaine. Boston Police District's E-5/E-18 Drug Control Units were investigating the area of Rockingham Avenue, a known spot for drug activity, according to a Boston Police report. Officers noticed the suspects sitting in a vehicle at 40 Rockingham Avenue with Janice examining an unknown item in her lap. Norwood Police arrested three parties on Monday for conspiracy to violate drug law.

Norwood Police arrested three parties on Monday for conspiracy to violate drug law - including a Dorchester man with five previous drug-related convictions. Patricia Crawford, 42, of 48 Berwick Street, Norwood; Lisa Jenks, 44, of 11 Hoyle Street, Norwood; and Jamil Bowden, 38, of 60 Downer Avenue #2, Dorchester were all charged with conspiracy to violate drug law. Bowden was also charged with operating a motor vehicle after revocation, second and subsequent offense. Assault Investigation Leads to Two Drug Arrests, Third Suspect Still At Large

Police are actively looking for the suspect in an assault from early last Thursday morning in South Norwood.

An assault incident in South Norwood last Thursday has led to the arrest of two local males for drug-related charges, Norwood Police spokesman Kevin Grasso said in an email statement Tuesday. The suspect in the initial assault has not yet been arrested, but police are "actively looking to get him in custody," according to Grasso. He said the suspect's name will be released once he has been arrested and arraigned. According to the police statement, on Oct. 4, at 1:39 a.m. a victim of an assault and battery flagged down Officer Andrew Jurewich at the intersection of Dean and Pleasant streets. Four Arrested in Two Drug Investigations by Norfolk County Detectives

Police arrested four parties for drug-related charges on Friday, three in Norwood and one in Dedham.

Norwood Police, along with other detectives from the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime (NORPAC) Detectives Unit, arrested four suspects on Friday concluding two local drug investigations. Brenden S. Zablocki, 18, of Norwood was arrested for possession with intent to distribute Marijuana, possession of class A (Heroin), conspiracy to violate the controlled substance law, and two counts of distribution of Marijuana. According to police, Zablocki is currently on probation for a prior possession with intent to distribute Marijuana arrest in April of 2012.
