NFL Playoffs: TV Schedule and Where to Watch Divisional Round Games in Norwood

The New England Patriots host the Houston Texans at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the AFC Divisional Round. Here’s a roundup of where and when to catch all the NFL playoff action this weekend.

The divisional round of the NFL playoffs begins this weekend in Denver when the Broncos host the Baltimore Ravens at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Locally, the New England Patriots host the Houston Texans Sunday at Gillette Stadium. Kick-off in Foxborough is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Patriots fans hoping for another AFC Championship game in Foxborough will be tuning in Saturday to cheer on the Ravens against Peyton Manning and the Broncos while fans wanting to see a Brady-Manning showdown with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line will be favoring the Broncos Saturday.  Of course, in either scenario, the Patriots need to knock off the Houston Texans Sunday to advance. Jake N’ Joes to Hire 60 to 65 Locals at Foxborough Location

The Foxborough Board of Selectmen approved the transfer of the all alcohol and restaurant license from Piccadilly Pub to Jake N’ Joes at Tuesday’s meeting and officially welcomed the sports grille to town.

Jake N’ Joes Sports Grille is opening a second location in Foxborough and will be looking to hire 60 to 65 employees from the area when it gets closer to its November opening, according to Gerrard D. Fruggiero, the restaurant’s manager. “We expect to hire 60 to 65 people from the local communities to work for us,” Fruggiero told the Foxborough Board of Selectmen at Tuesday’s public hearing regarding the liquor license transfer from Piccadilly Pub to Jake N’ Joes. “Once we get into a timeline of opening and are four weeks from anticipated training of staff, we will do on-site hiring where we will set up a trailer to do interviewing and hiring.” In its application to the town, Jake N’ Joes representatives listed a target opening date of Nov…

Jake N’ Joes to Open New Location in Foxborough

Representatives from Jake N’ Joes will meet with Foxborough’s Board of Selectmen Tuesday to discuss the all alcohol restaurant liquor license transfer from Piccadilly Pub at 25 Foxborough Blvd.

Jake N’ Joes Sports Grille could be opening a new location in Foxborough at the former site of Piccadilly Pub by the end of November if the necessary licenses are approved by the town. Grand Slam Restaurant Concepts Foxborough LLC DBA Jake N’ Joes agreed to buy the Piccadilly Pub property on July 25 after the Worcester-based company shut the doors on its Foxborough location in February, according to the company’s application to the town. Grand Slam Restaurant Concepts Foxborough LLC, which is also associated with The Chateau restaurant chain, is interested in bringing Jake N' Joes to 25 Foxborough Blvd. Representatives from Grand Slam Restaurant Concepts Foxborough LLC will meet with the Foxborough Board of Selectmen Tuesday for a public …

Norwood Hockey Fans Unite: Where to Watch Game 7

A reminder of our picks for where to watch the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals tonight.

It has been 39 years since the Boston Bruins sipped from Lord Stanley's Cup. Thirty-nine years since fans celebrated a hockey championship in the Hub. Thirty-nine years since Phil Esposito, Bobby Orr, Gerry Cheevers and Johnny Bucyk took turns hoisting the Cup in childish joy.  OK, you get the point, it has been a long time since this city celebrated a hockey championship and 21 years since the Bruins even played for a title.
