Norwood Uses Strong First Quarter to Down Dedham

Early turnovers doom Marauders on Thanksgiving.

Dedham turned over the ball on the second play of the game, setting the tone for a 48-18 routing at the hands of archrival Norwood today in the annual Thanksgiving matchup.   The Mustangs would find the endzone three times in the opening quarter alone, and would lead at the half 34-6. The Marauders did not fare much better in the third where they had only a single first down. Dedham scored twice in the fourth, but Norwood ultimately proved to be too much, running up the score before the senior Mustangs hoisted the Wall-Toti Trophy above the heads of their teammates. Check Norwood Patch later for a full game story and more pictures.
