Mary A. Bimber, of Norwood, formerly of S. Boston died on March 4, 2013 at the age of 85. Loving daughter of the late Peter and Monica (Czatrowska) Bimber. Sister of the late Louis G. Bimber, Francis L. Bimber, Stella A. (Bimber) Gambon and Vincent S. Bimber Sr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews of the Bimber, Gambon, Mulrey, and Sierra Families. Mary was a member of St. Mary's Polish Church in S. Boston for many years and attended grade school there. She graduated from S. Boston High School and was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church Ladies Sodality. Jeffrey P. Serena age 56 years died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Born in Norwood on August 30, 1956, he graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1974. He has been a life long resident of East Walpole. He was a chemical specialist for the Polaroid Company in Norwood for 24 years. Jeff was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing golf, softball, and bowling. Obituary from Legacy.com. William J. Orphan, of Norwood, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 5, 2012, at home. He was 88. Mr. Orphan served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II as a tail gunner on a B17. His plane was shot down over Germany and he was subsequently held as a P.O.W. in Krems, Austria, for 18 months. Mr. Orphan was a firefighter with the Town of Norwood for more than 40 years, and served as a captain when he retired in 1989. On April 23, 1978, he was appointed as a temporary deputy fire chief for the Norwood Fire Department. He was an artist, photographer, painter and enthusiastic model airplane builder, flying them in competitions. He was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He was the beloved husband of the…
