Pia's Cakes, Neighbor

Pia Figueiredo came to the US from Brazil about 10 years ago

with her husband and two-year old triplets, who are now 13.

They settled in Norwood, MA, where she had a baby girl, who is now four years old.

In her hometown of Rio in Brazil, she majored in Economics at PUC-RJ.

She continued her education in the US, at Harvard University, class of 2003 from CSS FAS.

She has always worked in the financial services industry, both in Brazil and the US.

Her hobbies include horse-riding, knitting, and recently cooking.

She has taken multiple classes in cake design, including:

Basics

Flowers

Minature Flowers

Fondant

Gum Paste

She now makes cakes on a regular basis for friends and for clients

and will be teaching classes at the Norwood Recreation Department.
